Unprepared, ill-equipped, and with no example to look back on, Ty and Chase embarked on a journey to build a family for Ava and Luc that would far exceed anything they dreamed of for themselves. Two years later, they’ve succeeded beyond their wildest expectations, but there’s still a couple of things missing…and they’re ready to make them happen.
Bad boy biker Trick wouldn’t hesitate to fight for those he loves, but Ty knows it will take more than violence to win this war. Willfully submissive Chase has the utmost faith in his Master, but when he sees Ty struggling with demons from his past, it will be his quiet, unbending support that will see them through. Jumping through the loopholes of family court, they are only one event shy of making it all official and neither are willing to wait another second to check it off the list.
Clearing the path for adoption should reassure them, but it will take their cast of well-meaning friends and the occasional slap upside the head before they realize that the ties that bind them together are forged in a love that can never be taken away.

The valet jumped back when he roared into the parking lot and rolled around to park illegally between two manicured hedges just behind the check-in stand. With a knowing smile, he passed the kid a twenty and from the way the pimply-faced baby stared longingly, Ty knew he’d spend the next hour vigilantly guarding the custom chopper. Satisfied that his bike would be well cared for, he walked out of the private lot and darted across four lanes of traffic to get to the Mediterranean counter across the street. Clay was already there, suit jacket hanging neatly off the back of his bar stool and starched sleeves rolled up—his favorite stuffed shirt didn’t look as relaxed as he was trying to appear.
“Did you park in the resort lot again?” Clay asked without looking up from his phone.
Perversely, Ty bumped the table when he sat, forcing his friend’s attention. He didn’t care about being ignored, but the man worked too hard as it was and the additional travel was taking a visible toll. “You get twitchy when I park it on the sidewalk and the kid gets a thrill out of it.”
Tired eyes narrowed on him and Clay used his best enunciation to declare, “I do not get twitchy.”
“Right.” Ty rolled his eyes. “Did you order?”
“Not so much as I agreed when she rattled it off from memory. When did we become predictable?”
“Speak for yourself.” Ordering the same meal once a month didn’t make him predictable and if anyone thought otherwise, they only needed to ask his husband’s opinion.
His husband. Ty couldn’t say why thinking that continued to give him pause. The actual event might have been spur of the moment, but it wasn’t like they didn’t know it was going to happen eventually.
“I just got an interesting text message.” Clay leaned back in his seat and held up his phone, his gaze bright with laughter. “Am I allowed to congratulate you?”
“You should have led with that,” Ty admonished.
Tys That Bind is Book 3 in the Devils Pride MC series and you need to have read at least Tricking Chase, the first book in the series, and preferably book 3 in the Sizzling Miami series, as well, since there are certain events referred to and some recurring characters that reappear in Tys That Bind and you'll be lost otherwise. And really, Tricking Chase was great and if you're okay with some D/s that doesn't take over the story, you can't go wrong with it.
Ty and Chase are doing everything they can to finalize Ava and Luc's adoption, but there are still a few hurdles left to jump before they get their family's HEA.
I love Ty and Chase and I love their relationship. While it's firmly based in the D/s dynamics and it seeps a bit into their life out of the bedroom, they are partners and parents of Ava and Luc in equal measure. The love they feel for each other and their kids and their friends is obvious in everything they do and it was adorable to see. The chemistry between Ty and Chase is explosive and it was lovely to see them thriving after all they'd gone through.
It was awesome to catch up with their friends, who truly are more like a family to them, and to see them all involved in each other's lives, trying to help them navigate through issues that had been affecting them.
Overall, this was a sweet, hot read with just a dash of angst for good measure and a treat for fans of the series! Highly recommendable!

About Jessie G
Like many readers, the dream of being a writer has been with me a long time. After three decades of trying, I'd begun to doubt. Thanks to social media, I followed my favorite authors hoping to glean some words of wisdom as I pounded out half-formed ideas with alarming regularity. Two repetitive themes emerged: to be a great writer you must read a lot and your butt must be in the chair every day like it's a job. The more you write, the easier it will be to write and the better you will be at writing. I took that advice to heart and write every day. With three series in the works and a full schedule of releases planned for the next two years, it's been amazing to have made this dream my reality.
I am a firm believer in marriage equality, love at first sight, power dynamics, and happily ever after. I'm a lover of strong secondary characters, and series filled with families—biological or chosen. All are themes you'll find throughout my books.
