Release Tour ~ Love Rehab by Louise Bay ~ (Review)
Love Rehab by Louise Bay Release Date: December 7th Genre: Contemporary Romance
Ever wanted to fast forward to your happily ever after?
My name is Mackenzie Locke and I’m a loveaholic. I haven’t got a handle on men. Not even a little bit.
So I staged an intervention and booked me and my two best friends into Love Rehab, complete with a love shaman, horse therapy and a bunch of stones that promise to change my life. I’m not leaving until I’m cured.
Lesson #1: the first night of your stay, don’t have a one night stand with the hottest guy you’ve ever seen in your life.
Lesson #2: make sure your one night stand isn’t planning on sticking around, teasing you, tempting you right back into his Levis.
Lesson #3: Whoops. I forgot this one. I was too busy daydreaming about Blake McKenna’s mouth on mine and the way his five o’clock shadow feels on my thighs.
So maybe I’m not the best student. Maybe I wasted my time and money on Love Rehab. But I can’t help that I want to spend every minute with Blake, naked under the stars. Perhaps he can teach me every lesson I ever needed to learn.
Mackenzie is a loveaholic and after her fiancé dumps her, she decides it's time to make some changes so she signs herself and her two best friends into Love Rehab, with the hope that it will help her find the man she's supposed to marry once and for all. Only she didn't take into account that she'd meet a handsome uncowboy on her first night there or that he'd rock her world in the way he did. Or that Blake would end up being part of the Love Rehab team and that she wouldn't be able to stop going to him for more. And while during some of the activities, she thought the Love Rehab thing might not have been what she needed or wanted, perhaps she'd end up learning something in the end.
I loved Blake. He was handsome, smart, supportive, caring and loyal, and damn, if I wouldn't sign up for Love Rehab if I could find a man like him. LOL. I liked Mackenzie, although I wasn't too sure I would at first. I was kind of fed up with her attitude when things didn't go according to her big plan. She was whiny and stubborn and couldn't really see what was right in front of her. However, she grew on me, and really, her chemistry with Blake was undeniable, so there's that. I really liked that when she finally opened her eyes and saw what was in her heart, she actually did something about it and not just waited for things to happen to her.
I loved Kennedy and Rose, especially Kennedy, and I really hope Louise Bay will write their stories.
All in all, this was a very entertaining, fast-paced, steamy read! You won't be sorry if you pick it up.
Rating: 4 Stars!
